View Full Version : Back from Skiing!

Hey everybody! Haven't had a chance to be here in over a week I think, and if I try to read all the new posts I will be here til tomorrow, so what did I miss?? lol!
We had a great march break skiing in Quebec. Put the girls in private lessons for 2 days and then we all skiied together for 3 days. Dh and I took a private lesson the first day too, but I was amazed that even after 14 years of not skiing, it all came back so quickly. We had phenomenal weather, sunny and clear, we all have sunkissed faces!
Off to do the mountains of laundry and get everything back to normal before heading back to work/school on Monday.

Don't believe a word she says!! LOL! Glad you had fun skiing. I have always been too chicken to try it. I am scared of heights and thought the ski lift would be too much for me!!! ;)

I hear you on the scared of heights thing! However, for the sake of my children, I think I hid my fear pretty darn well as they weren't scared on it at all! It really is a great sport, a lot of fun.

It sounds like you and your family had a great time skiing. If I ever tried doing something like that I'm afraid I'd probably come back with a broken leg/arm or something. I'd love to try but considering that I'm not the most graceful person in the world, I'm safer not even trying. LOL I'm glad the weather cooperated with you and everything went well. :)
That sounds like a wonderful vacation! I'm even envious that your kids were able to ski. I was the first person in the history of my region's closest ski resort to get injured during a lesson, lol! Didn't even make it to the slope! I've never dared to try again, doctors told me it wouldn't be very smart, lol. (I have very unstable knees)
Oh, and Ann w, I've always been told we only tease people we love, so if you feel we've been mean, you must feel very loved, lol! :D

Glad you had such a great time. I have never went snow sking either, but would love to try. I've water skied though. Does that count? LOL!
