Hi, im just what does "dd,ds,dh" and all the other terminology mean here, i have a fair idea but i dont want to have it completly wrong and say it in a post one day and get weird looks from everyone....(not that i'll see, but all the same....)

Don't feel bad I didn't know what any of these meant when I first came in here either. LOL

dd = dear daughter
ds = dear son
dh = (dear, darn, d*mn) husband (depending on the situation)
ROFLMAO = rolling on the floor laughing my A$$ off.
SAHM = Stay At Home Mom

I'm sure there are a lot more but I'll leave those for somebody else. :)

If you want to find out who is logged on go to the home page and scroll down way to the bottom where it say's... Currently Active Users. It will tell you WHO is logged in, and HOW MANY members are currently logged in, (some choose to go invisable) and it will also tell you how many guests their are logged on. Hope this made sense. LOL

I also want to thank you for the info. I'm new also and didn't know the language. I'm catching on, and hope to join in on more of the things going on. You all sound like great people.

Hi and welcome to the board. I too was confused with all the lingo used when I first came to IB. I used to have a really good web site that listed most of what you see used, but the last time I tried it didn't work. But, if you use a search engine and type in "chat line lingo" you should be able to find a few pages that will help out.

This isn't the site I had in mind but it might help you out a bit. If anybody knows of a better place... please post it. :)
