You can, but why? LOL I agree with Diane, and I wouldn't cook it all day too, so then you would have to cook it tonite, take it out of the crockpot, then heat it up again....too many steps! LOL

Well... I know it was there because I reread it but now it's gone. :biglaugh: I'm glad you saw it Ann...

What I said is that if you were going to eat it right away in the morning it would be fine to cook it throughout the night but... if you were planning on letting it cook throughout the day... whatever you have in it (vegetables, onions, potato's) may get mushy or totally disappear... (just like my post did... LOL 8o ?( 8o ?( 8o

Diane...

I must have done something stupid again... :biglaugh: I KNOW it was there because I reread it. When I went back later to read Ann's reply she referred to my post but... my post wasn't there. LOL It almost looked like Ann had ESP... :) (or was going crazy) :biglaugh:

You two must be talking with yourselves again LOL. Wait that was Diane and ?? (I don't remember now)

Renee,

I have prepped stuff for the crockpot the night before, put it in the fridge crock and all, then fired it up the next morning (maybe 30-60 minutes earlier) and let it cook as I would have if prepped that day. I think I have also put the crock in the microwave to knock off the chill. Guess I am making the assumption that you have a removable crock.

Renee....what steps were you trying to save?? LOL

I have done what Jeff has done and gotten everything all assembled the night before. That is nice.
