View Full Version : Anyone losing weight?
How has everyone been doing? I have my good days and bad days. Im still holding on tot he 5lbs I lost, but am not execising enough to loose the last 5 lbs.
Anyone's close feel looser?
I haven't owned a scale for years cause I didn't want to get wrapped up in numbers, but I think I might need to buy one. (anyone have recommendations for a good one?) On one hand, I feel like I have maybe lost some weight, but I don't really look firmer so it's kind of depressing me cause I have really been trying!
well I have lost a total of 11 pounds since Janurary 8th...but now I am at a stand still....or stand off with my scale....Ann we have a Health o Meter I like it...it came with little color clips...one for where I started...on for where I am going (I do it 5 pounds at a time) :) going slowly for me this last week....increased my workouts 5 mintues 3 times a week...hope that helps.....
WAY TO GO ALL....I sure feel better....
I am doing the yoyo thing but I think I will start dropping here in the next day or so.
Ann - we have the healthometer also. It is really nice but I would like something smaller that can be put away. DW parents have a digital (it may be a health-o- meter that is nice because it lights up when you stand on it.

MM! I've been plugging away at this gym thing. I absolutely love it! I've only lost 4 pounds since October but, I look awesome! I feel so great too. My back hasn't bothered me at all since I started either. I'm sure it's helping.
I was feeling frustrated too since I wasn't loosing any weight. Incidentally, I am 10 pounds heavier than my "old" normal weight. I've lost inches! I'll have a picture sometime next week.
Now I'm concentrating on my waist-line and tummy. It's been pretty neat to watch my body begin to reshape itself. I never worked out in a gym before. This is so cool.
The best of luck to everyone still modifying thier lifestyles. ßß!

You are gaining lean muscle mass!! Muscles weigh more than fat, but you are probably smaller in inches than you ever were!
That is one of the reasons why most Personal Trainers don't want you owning a scale because the weight is deceiving. One of my friends was a gym rat and in perfect lean shape. I thought she weighed about 115lbs. She told me she weighed 130!! Thats why I try to gauge how I'm doing with how my clothes fit.
