You are going to have SO much fun at build a bear!!!!!!! We just got back. It was very crowded, we probably had to wait maybe 30 minutes, but the kids didn't seem to mind. They had the best time doing it. Even prepuberty ds thought is was great!!!! Both of them just kept looking at me and saying "thanks" the whole time we were there.

We are going to blue bell tomorrow..you might call, you need reservations at spring break I found out.

Houston Bound!!!


We can't wait. DD is so excited. She keeps saying,"I want to move to Houston". We went shopping today. "Mom you can't get that, Save the money for tomorrow!!" She is so funny. I got the tires checked and car washed. We are on our way!!

What kind of bear did your dd get?? Mine keeps insisting on the white baby bear, but I told her there will be many more to choose from - not just the ones on the internet.

Thank you for letting me know about BlueBell. We may have to wait on that one. BTW, Do you remember Blue the Cow on the commercial? I love that "MMOOOOMMMMOOOOOOO!! MOOOMOOOOOOO!!

Howdy,
Finally home and able to sit and respond for awhile. (While dd is at my shoulder- I got to get that girl to bed!!) Build A Bear is a Workshop where the children pick out an unstuff bear. They get to stuff it, add a special heart which they make a wish on and give it a kiss, then it is stitch. Then the bear is given a Bath (Blower) and the children brush it's fur. After that it is to the computer where they make a birth certificate or story. Then it is to the dressing area. There are so many clothes and outfits to choose from. It is so fun (a little expensive, but so cute)
My dd chose the Baby first pink bear. She picked out a dress outfit with sandals and a picnic basket. We also got P.J's that has bear slippers with it! So cute and fun. She was so excited to be there and to do this. We have waited a long time to go.
