As much as I said I am not a big fan of Valentine's day, I am cooking a special dinner tomorrow! LOL I am going to make "real" lasagna (as my kids call it as opposed to Stouffers! LOL), spinach salad, green beans and garlic bread. And I am going to BAKE brownies for dessert!

Are you cooking anything special?

that is definitely the difference in having youngers kids...if we waited till ds went to bed, we would be having our romantic dinner at 10!!!! LOL
We are going out Saturday night with some friends, so that will be our "couple" time..but you know, since he is ALWAYS here, I am not needing quite as much couple time anymore!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I don't plan on cooking. Dks want Chinese yet again, but we have had it a lot lately, so that's not an option. LOL! Not sure what I am even hungry for to go out and have, so I would almost rather just make something and hang out at home.

I'm going to attempt to make the pork chops I hav planned on making last night. We ended up with pizza last night- had a few errands to run last night and it was after 7 before we got home. Pizza was just the easiest. Maybe I'll make my dks a dessert to go with their dinner.

I think we are going to Fat Tuesday's for a little (or a lot) of Cajun food. Yum! I can feel the heartburn just thinking about it.

I think it's going to be a spaghetti and meat sauce night...it's red for Valentine's Day. I'm also going to make some heart  shaped veggies for the kids

Well, I guess I am having a party! LOL I ended up with a ton of lasagna so I called my folks to come over for dinner, ran out and got some confetti and streamers to decorate the table, even some valentine napkins and dessert plates.

I think they are excited..don't have to face any restaraunts tonite! LOL
The table turned out pretty cute, put some candles on, spread the confetti and made little centerpieces by covering up a votive holder in Valentine cellophane paper, tying it up and the fringing the ends...not too bad when you decide to have company at 1:00!! LOL Sent dh to the store to "fancy up" the spinach salad, so now we are going to have mushrooms and warm bacon dressing with it! Even had him get some whipped cream and raspberries to go with the brownies!! LOL

I think I just gained about 5 pounds reading your wonderful menu. It sounded great. I hope you all had a good time.

I on the other hand went out and got some take out Chow Mein. Dh was sick (stomach flu) and everyone else was hungry for chow mein so... I didn't argue about not cooking tonight. LOL

I hope you ALL had a Happy Valentines Day...
