I know that I am trying to consistently eat three meals a day (very hard for me to do). I find when I am running between jobs, or leaving really early, I don't always have time to sit down and eat a meal. I saw that Slim Fast makes a meal replacement bar. Has anyone ever tried them? They have 12g of protein (I need protein), 6g of fat and I think around 225 calories. What do you guys think? Obviously eating a proper meal is best, but when I can't find the time??????

I have eaten them...they are pretty good!
Are you a vegetarian?

They are delicious! I especially like the Brownie variety....really tastes like a sweet "treat" and not a diet food. Every now and then I'll grab one for work if I don't have time to fix my lunch.

Sort of. I haven't eaten "red" meat in 18 years. On a very rare occassion, I will have chicken (only if prepared at home), and sometimes I will eat fish. I do eat eggs as well.

My diet changed completely 18 years ago for medical reasons.

the Meal on the Go bars are great, especially with your 8 oz glass of water....:) ...I'd stay away from there snack products, they are tastey and like someone else said they don't taste diety...so you tend to want another one....some taste like candy bars.....hope this is helpful...:tinysmile

I bought the cookie dough meal replacement bars and the peanut flavoured meal replacement bars. I find with a big glass of water, they fill me up.

Those sound good. Maybe I'll have to buy a few the next time I go grocery shopping. Are they very expensive?
