View Full Version : what is your plan of attack?
first of all I love this thread....I started on Jan. 8th with the weight watchers 1 2 3 program a friend had mailed me....the material is a little outdated {1998} but was really working for me...I lost 11 pounds in 5 weeks....well then the weight stopped coming off....I did some research and the program has changed alot since 1998...I can not afford to join online or the group meetings.....I was a little disappointed with the email response I got from them too....I am working out 35 minutes, 6 days a week...feeling great...gained 2 pounds back :( so far...but still sticking to it...not cheating either....:)
dh on the other hand is counting calories and fat (wieghs and measures everything...he has lost 16 pounds :) and feels great too...he uses a computer calculator that is wonderful...I have it on my PC too....
so my question is how are you all attacking this weight loss/healthy eating thing....I did a search and I should be eating 1208 calories a day....to loose weight....
just being nosey into other peoples struggle....:) thanks for any responses...8)

Renee, where did you go to find out how many calories you need to consume to lose weight?
Right now I am just trying to eat heatlhy, and try to eat 3 meals a day. I think for me, that will help a lot because I am a terrible eater.
Be proud of yourself, you've done amazing so far!

dh has this amazing computer program, you tell it your current weight, hieght, and all that...it tells you how much you should loose and how many calories to eat daily...

I think this is my problem. I don't have a plan. I have been exercising each day, but I haven't changed my eating habits. This is were I need some planning help.
I was doing no sugar after 2 oclock. But the last week has been terrible. Now I have chocolates and a valentines cake at the house. My dh has flown to Utah, so the temptation is too much.
Someone give me a plan and quick.
I would like to lose 10 lbs. I currently weigh 139 at 5'5".
Any tricks or help out there???

Isn't someone on this board a member of weigh watchers? I think it was in a thread back before Christmas. Maybe they could help you with the new up to date version of the 1 2 3 plan. We'd just have to figure out who it is!? LOL
Running, Running, Running...The more I exercise the less I want to eat. Must be all that seretonin I am producing.

What do you need?
I am 5'6" and weight 130 pounds.
TIA
sure, I need more info
frame size ( small, med, large)
your age (sorry)
activity level (inactive, low, medium, or high)
do you exercise regularly?
how many hours per week?
how hard (Light, Mod., or heavy?)
