Children and Dentist?

How did you pick your childs dentist? and at what age....since we have moved here, I haven't even given it a second thought, but I guess I better, just wondering if you have any clues to finding a good pediatric dentist....thanks in advance....

My oldest is almost 4 and we have not taken him to the dentist yet - it is on my list of things to do. We only have one office in town that "specializes" in pediatric dentistry. Do you know anyone that you could ask for a reference? That's how I found our family dr when we moved to town and I also asked a friend about the pediatric dentist here. I like being able to hear about the dr from someone who has had positive experiences with him/her. Good luck! :)

I found our pedi dentist through my best friend..we love him! I think they started at around 4.
