Baby Shower Poem

Can someone help me fix this, please? I got this poem off the internet, but some of the lines don't rhyme quite right.

As Heather’s due date is coming near,
we're inviting friends and family dear,
to choose a favorite story or fairy tale
that you would like baby Hillary to hear.

Instead of a card, please let Heather look,
at your special choice of a book,
and then to baby Hillary she will read
with all the love a newborn will need.

So with a personal touch, please choose a book,
and in it then your name do put.
It need not cost more than a card,
just pick a favorite, it shouldn't be hard.

You'll have to let me think about the poem for a little while but I wanted to share this with you. I know that you are having the guest bring books, but I didn't know if you thought about having the guest tell why the books meant so much.

Have guests bring their favorite childhood book to the shower to begin baby’s little library! But before they present their favorite tale, guests must tell a meaningful story about how the book played an important role in their lives. Have the host write down each story so baby will know just how meaningful each book is!
