This is regarding restoring a Registry Key...if anyone can help, lol. Whenever I want to view something with Microsoft Active Movie or Microsoft Windows Media Player I get an error message that says, "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream". It says it is caused by a missing or damaged registry key. It then goes on to say that if using Registry Editor incorrectly I may have to reinstall my operating system. My question is (cause I don't know how to change or add a registry key...does anybody here?) can I reinstall my Operating System anyway...will that correct the problem? TIA
