View Full Version : It's Thursday!
One more week until the new Survivor starts. One more week until we find out what Ross says to Joey on Friends. I wonder if that also means only one more week until we find out what happens on ER? I love Thursday night TV.
Tonight it's the women's long program in figure skating. Who's going to be watching? I'll watch it, but I'm so bad, that with the time difference I'll probably get online and see the results live because I won't be able to wait!
Anyone have any fun plans for today? I just have my one dck today and then a drop in for about 2 hours while the neighbor goes to the Dr. He'll be here at nap time so, we'll see how that works out. Other than that no plans here today!
Thanks for the Friends/Survivor reminder for next week, LOL...definitely looking forward to next Thursday!
DS had a headache this a.m. so he's home from school...will see how he is at lunch to see if he goes this afternoon or not. I guess he had a sore tummy through the night also.
Have an ortho appointment late this aft. I wonder what colour elastics I should go with now...decisions, decisions, lol.
Have a wonderful day, all!

I can't wait for next Thursday!!! :yippee:
Youngest ds has a runny nose, cough and temp, so we'll see if we even get out of the house to get oldest ds to preschool this afternoon. I have a few errands I still need to run that I didn't get done Tuesday because I lost the checkbook and spent the afternoon searching for it. I even drove back to ds's preschool in a panic and then I found it....in the Explorer.
Jen - Hope your afternoon goes well!
Bev - Hope your ds is feeling better soon!! :\

I can't stand myself.......By 7, I had put together a bookshelf (you know the "some" assembly required! 8o ), and done a load of laundry. By 9, showered, filled the bookshelf, cleaned my room, folded a load of towels, changed the wipers on my car, and was out the door for groceries. Now it's 11:30, and I'm out of ideas......I guess I'll go find some more chores that noone else wants to do, or maybe take a walk. I know I can't sit here and play computer or I'll go nuts.... Hope everyone has a good day.

Cathy - I want your energy!!!! 8o Guess if I had some variety in the things I have to do it wouldn't be so bad, but picking up toys and doing laundry for the millionth time just don't seem to motivate me anymore! ;) LOL!

Cathy, I remember being amazed at how much free time I had after I quit smoking too! We never smoked in the house, so it was a separate activity to smoke. One time figured out if it took 3 minutes to smoke a cigarette, and I was smoking 2 packs a day when I quit, that was 40 cigarettes x 3 minutes = 120 minutes or 2 full hours of time that I now had! Pretty amazing isn't it!!!
Hang in there though..you are doing great!!!!!

I had not heard that he wasn't leaving, but I did read in the newspaper a few weeks ago that since Eric LaSalle (Peter Benton) is still on contract for the rest of the season, that they are going to bring him back for some more episodes. I'm sure it won't have a huge story line, but maybe we'll see what happens with Reese and Cleo.

It must have been that kind of a day Renee... I blew it too. :biglaugh: I did SOOOOOOO good yesterday and most of today not eating any of this chocolate cake I had made for one of my dck's birthday, until tonight. 8o 8o I saw dh dishing himself up a nice BIG piece and I could no longer resist... :bigcry: I DID taste awfully good though. :) I guess the way I look at it, it's okay as long as you only do it once in a while. I honestly think that you HAVE to do it once in a while or that's all you'll think about eating. I feel bad but not AWFUL... tomorrow is another day and because I cheated today, I can't do it again for a few more day's. :)
It sounds like you've really been doing very good Renee... so don't beat yourself up about it. It's not like you're doing it all the time. :) Tomorrow is make up day for BOTH of us though... LOL
Diane...
