Hello out their! This my first time to use this new forum. I am not sure if I am doing this right and I don't know about the icons. I am almost 30 years old, and have no children. My husband has a child from a previous marriage, but not me. I have always wanted kids, but am beginning to feel like I am the only one alive with out children in my age group! Is their anyone out there that can give me some advice on how to deal with this?

Welcome to the board Dena... You'll find that this is a great place to come for advice, idea's and a lot of support. Not wanting to sound nosey but... are you and dh trying to get pregnant? As far as you feeling as if you're the only one alive in your age group without children... no way! I have quite a few friends who are a lot older than you are who haven't had children yet either. A few are still trying (for about three years now) and the other's just want to wait until the time is right for them. I have no great advice to give you... just to hang in there and be patient and hopefully some day real soon it will happen. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :)

Welcome Dena! My BIL/SIL (brother-in-law/sister-in-law), both around 30, don't have any children. I have 2 friends who are 30ish and married, no kids. I have another friend who didn't have her first baby until she was 41. I think it is becoming more and more common because of blended families like yours also. Do you have custody/visitation with dh's (dear husband's) child?

Welcome!! I also have friends who are 30 and don't have kids. Also a cousin who is 34 and just got pregnant and she has been married for 8 years. (How long have you been married?) Hang in there and hopefully things will turn out the way you want them to soon! :)

I also have a cousin in her thirties that just got pregnant. I think it is becoming more and more common. BTW (by the way) welcome to the board. You'll find a lot of support here.
