Hello everyone, I know it has been a very long time since I've been seen posting :)
Well....I have a question...I went to the Dr. for my yearly and told her that I was just sick of having PMS!!! Anyway, she gave me a sample packet of sarafem to try - so, I've been on the internet reading all this stuff about it and it is basically prozac with a different name. I'm scared to take it. Just wondered if anyone else takes something for PMS - maybe I should just boost up my calcium intake.
Thanks for any comments :)
Hope all of you are doing well!!

Calicum worked pretty well for me, but it took over a month of taking at least 500 mg every day. I also find it helpful to decrease my caffine when I first notice symptoms. I don't have PMS nearly as bad as I used to. Every few months I'll have a bad day and I find drinking a beer (one only) does wonders.

Welcome back stranger!!!!

I don't know anything about the meds, but like Jeannie the calcium helped alot, plus increasing my exercise has really helped the most!!!!

Hey there,

I highly recommend Evening Primrose Oil soft gels!!!!!! Take 3 a day every day, and you will not even know you are about to start. It is all natural and is also good for your skin, hair and nails. You can get it at your local health food store.

Speaking from experience, I really stress taking it every day along with your multi vitamin.....

hope this helps
