Desperately need ideas for dramatic play for a music unit.:\

What about setting up a music store with instruments the children can play? Or, maybe a music center with some type of radio/cassette player that has a microphone and some instruments the children can play. Allowing the children to use cassettes (or CD's ) would require close supervision though.

Might be neat to bring in a video camera (as long as none of the children are not to be photographed or videoed) and tape the kids singing to the music. That might be fun to show at a parent function or have available for the children to take turns taking home to see.

Another idea would be providing a variety of containers that children could make their own instruments with.
Sounds like a fun unit.
