How was your dinner party? What did you end up doing for the appetizer?

Ann, I just logged on to post to thank you for the goat cheese and roasted red pepper and pesto quesadillas recipe. I had those along with chipotle seasoned potatoe wedges with a creme fraiche dip for appetizers. Big hits. Was a good test for the new kitchen too - it passed with flying colours!

The party was great, went til 2 am so that is always a good sign right?? We have been doing this for almost 9 years now so when we all get together we have a great time.

Got up and went to church, had another party this afternoon for "the game" and now I am zonked and just want to hit the hay, lol.

Thanks again for the recipe, you always come through :)

How do you make creme fraiche? That always scares me when I see it in recipes cause I have never found a recipe to make the creme fraiche..so I just use sour cream! LOL

Rather than start a new thread I'll just jump in here and thank you, Ann for the brownie idea you posted Valentine's Day. We had a business associate of dh's over for dinner tonight and I served (on plates, within 30 minutes of the meal LOL) brownies with warm Dove fudge sauce, whipped cream and raspberries. Big hit - dh was impressed!
