I've already been. I was there at 9:00 and they drew blood. I should hear from them by 4:00 today.
The Dr. wasn't even there, so I tried to get some answers from the nurses.
Apparently, these 'number's (the beta HCG) don't go up once they have dropped, like mine did. They stay the same or preferably, double every two days. That means the pregnancy will more than likely not last, which is what the Dr. had called to tell me on Thursday.
And of course, the nurse says "well, sometimes nature takes it's course and if it's not meant to be.... blah blah blah".
YEAH! I KNOW THAT!! BUT I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT RIGHT NOW.
I have not had any cramping or bleeding so if I understand her correctly, if there is still a trace of the HCG, then a D & C may be in order.
This is so numbing.

I have had another thing on my mind - I'm worried that my posting all these details might worry some of you pregnant posters about your pregnancies. I hope I am not casting any doubt into anyone's pregnancy - I wouldn't want to cause anyone any anxiety by posting my fears and events.

Jennifer - I felt totally guilty whining about my glucose test when you are struggling to get pregnant. Please don't stop talking to us, we are here to support you!

OH Angie!!!! {{{hugs}}} NO you shouldn't!!!! I would do the same thing!!! I'm hoping all will be fine and you won't have to deal with it at all.

The Dr. called and my numbers stayed the same - so we still wait.
He thought as low as the number is, it would have only taken a day or two to be over - not sure why it's hanging on - I only know it's agony. (and no, it's not possible that it will turn around and all be okay - we've asked that many times)
I go back AGAIN on Thursday for more blood work and again and again until the betaHCG is totally out of my system - that will postively show the pregnancy is over.

I can't tell anyone I'm pregnant and I can't exactly tell anyone I lost a baby - welcome to 'almost pregnant'.

{{{Jennifer}}} I am so sorry you are going thru this. My sister and a friend went thru the same thing and although I could only imagine their loss I know their hearts were breaking. I am thinking about you!!! Hang in there!!

I'm so sorry!! I can't even imagine what you're going through!! I've been one of those people who got pregnant at the drop of a hat.

Although it's hard for me to understand, I sympathize and hope all goes well.
