I am going to book club tomorrow night and I am bringing a hummus dip with pita bread. It looks so bland! lol! What else can I bring to be dipped in the hummus that is finger food? I was thinking of just chopping up a bunch of fresh veggies. Any suggestions?
A better tasting dip??? LOL Sorry, not a big humus fan. I have seen it served with all the chopped veggies including red peppers green peppers and chilled blanched asparagus.

I agree :licklips:
I have only ever seen hummus once and it was served with a lot for chopped up fresh veggies, including black olives and also feta cheese. It looked (the hummus) gross to me, but my dh really liked it, especially with the feta cheese.

Looks like you got it covered. I was going to suggest veggies. You can also use chips, maybe more exotic ones like red potato, etc. We have one "natural food" store here and we can get red pepper hummus, along with the regular kind. Yumm. And the funny thing is my 2 1/2 yr old dd LOVES it. It cracks me up to hear her ask for "hummus and chips".
