I lost all but 2 of my plants

I covered them last night with double plastic. Thing is I had a bird bath in the middle which I think allow it to get too cold. This morning the bird bath was frozen solid.

There were two that I covered with an ice chest. These are looking good.

Opps. Forgot 2 mums that are surviving. They are in a different location. I covered these the same way.


OKKKKK!! What is the weather report??? When should I try to replant??

I guess that depends on where you live! :) LOL I'm lucky that I have some sort of pipes that run under my front yard. The warmth of the pipes have melted away some of the snow and I can actually see grass! :) Only about a foot of grass total, but it's WONDERFUL to see that little bit of grass. It's making me feel a bit hopefully that the reat of the snow will be melting soon. We've had snow on the ground for almost 5 straight months now! :\ I'm ready for spring too!

Sorry that you lost your plants though- maybe you should wait a little longer to try and plant again.
