Good morning all. What wonderful things have you got planned for today? I have a little bit of cleaning, and I'm thinking of finally making a decision on a new couch. I've looked a couple of times, but I'm not positive what I want. At least it'll get me out of the house and moving.
My 2 older dds have a dance marathon at school.... noon to midnight! They are looking forward to it. It's an annual fundraiser for a summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. Dd3 went to her dad's for the weekend so I get to amuse myself. I'd hoped to sleep in a little, but this is the 4th day in a row of waking up at 4:30. I'm afraid it's going to become a habit. Ugh!

Hope you all have fun and productive days. At least we're starting out with sunshine and clear skies here.

Cathy - What time do you go to bed to get up at 4:30? yikes!

We have no plans today. Ds stayed at MIL's last night and should be home about 8:30. Brichard rented Captain Corelli's Mandolin so we will watch that at some point. It is cold and rainy outside so it will be a fun indoor family day! Hooray!

MM! We're hanging close to home today. We're going to a little backyard zoo for a picnic lunch in the late afternoon. This evening HH and I have some serious yard work to do. We're putting in a pool for the kids and have to develop the yard. It's an above the ground pool. 4'x15' rectangle. We got a great deal. Now of course I'll need another patio set. lol!
PS It's 83 today with sunny skies and a gentle breeze blowing.lol
ßß!

Cathy, what is there to do at 4:30 in the morning :\ . I hope you break the pattern soon. What a wonderful thing that your dds are doing...sounds like fun too :wiggle:

Angie, I rented that movie the other day when dh was out of town, and never got a chance to watch it. Let me know how it is okay? :)

Arianna, If you need some help preparing the yard tonight, I'm available. I might get there a little early, so I can enjoy the 83 degree temperature with sunny skies and a gentle breeze blowing 8)

I made a hair appointment today for myself. I think I'll take a new book and start it while I am there. My BIL and his girlfriend are coming over for dinner tonight...that means dh gets to cook :yippee: , but I have to clean up his mess :\ (and oh what a messy cook he is)

Can't believe it's March already!

Happy Saturday everyone :D

I go to bed between 10 and 11 usually. I don't MEAN to wake up early......just can't sleep, or get back to sleep.

Marla, There's nothing great to do. I washed the bathroom floor, sorted the laundry, put away the dishes, then watched the sunrise. The first 3 things could have waited. Then I read a chunk of my book.

Good Morning!!! :)

Change of plans this morning for us. Ds was supposed to go to a birthday party this morning, but the birthday boy is sick so it has been rescheduled. :\ Oldest ds and I are going to head to my little brother's hockey game and then hope to bring my nephew home with us for the day. :) Youngest ds is going to go with dh to bball practice. I bet it'll be fun interesting both of them. :brow: LOL!

Cathy - Ugh!! Hope you can get a nap in today to catch up on some sleep!!

arianna - I'm so envious!! Would love to even feel the sun at this point, much less be putting in a pool and working in the yard!!! Lucky you!! :D

Marla - Any major plans for your hair? Just a trim or a new style?? Good luck! :)

angie - Enjoy your family day!!

Cathy, I know what you're going through. I've been totally sleepless. I have finally weaned myself off the sleeping pills I was forced to take out of necessity and have now been off them about a month. I'm averaging about 5 1/2 to 6 hours of sleep now on my own. I don't think I'll complain.

Ari, I wish we had yard work weather. It's really been a mild winter, but during the last couple of weeks we've had a taste every few days of raw weather. I'm not big on cold.

Karla, enjoy your change of plans.

Marla, I love getting my hair done. Hope it turns out great.

Angie, enjoy your family day.

We are planless today. The weather is awful: low 30's, rain, and wind. We have nothing to do today. We were hoping to go back to state tournament to watch our girls play, but they lost last night. After the game, ds wanted to go to Fazoli's to eat and I gorged myself on lasagne and 4 bread sticks. Comfort food. I've cleaned my bed and bath and started a load of clothes. I've got to help ds with the finishing touches on his Austrailia project, finishes the art project and cooking project. There are lots of little odds and ends that I need to tie up with school reports and my ESL tutoring lessons, so this will be a good day to do all that.

Good Morning everybody. It's a "stay in the house" day for us...Yippee!!! We had about 4" of snow last night....and expecting another 7" during the day today. Sent dh to the doctor...he's miserable with a cold that I think is now a sinus infection. Poor guy...he's a terrible patient! I'm anxious to hear what the dr. says. Other than that....dk's and I are finally feeling better, and for the first time in over a week I feel like I could actually eat something! (Haven't had much of an appetite since I had the flu.) Fazoli's sounds WONDERFUL, Kat.

Have a great Saturday!!!

I woke up to more snow on the ground! At least all the brown snow is white again. I hate it when they scrape all the dirty snow from the road onto the sidewalks. It looks so gross- so now it looks pretty again! I'm still ready for all the snow to be gone, but I know I have a while yet! :(

Ds and I are getting ready to eat breakfast and then pick dd up from a slumber party. Then off to watch the Ididirod start. Should be fun, but cold I'm sure!

I hope everyone else has a wonderful day! :)

Morning! I slept till 9:45 this am!!!!! Watched Trading Spaces at 10 and now I am here..it's been a great day so far! LOL
It is colder here than where you are Kat! LOL Even dd wimped out about taking the dog for a walk!
DD has a research project on Alaska due next week so we are going to the library to check out a book, and that is about it for the day.
Tonite, ds has a birthday party and dd, dh and I are going to grab some dinner and then dd and I are heading off to the drill team's big spring show.

Very cold here! We did get quite a bit a snow and it blew most of the night so we have some good drifts. Dh cleared the drive with the snow blower and took off to town for a new water dish for the dogs outside. He plans to go to a gun show this afternoon in town.

I'm trying to catch up on some Avon things and will probably work on some felt board games for preschool. The kids just LOVE those.

The kids went out sledding and playing in the snow this moring, but didn't last too long because it's so cold. The weather bug says it's 3 degrees!!! 8o

I need to tackle laundry and house cleaning, but it's so hard when everyone is caged in the house.

Cathy--maybe you can catch a nap later today to make up for the 4:30 wake up
Arianna-- send some of that nice weather this way. That sounds neat to put in a pool.
Mary L--hope your dh feels better soon
Angie--a family day sounds fun-- your household/lifestyle just sounds fun--will you adopt me??? LOL
Ann--glad to hear you slept in that late. I don't feel so bad about sleeping till 9:30 now. :)
Kat- sorry to hear your team lost.
Jak--how long do you usually have snow?
Karla- that sounds fun to bring a nephew home for the day.
Marla--good luck with the hair appt.

Did I miss anybody??

Hope you all have a super day!!

I felt so sorry for him too! At one of the TS fan sites, they are saying he faked it cause Banyan likes controversy, but I don't think so! I loved his room..that headboard was incredible! I thought the twin trick was pretty funny too. This show reminded me of the old shows before being controversial became the name of the game instead of decorating.

The twin trick reminded me of Brichard and his brother. They love doing that kind of stuff!

I have only lived here for 1 full year and of that year we have had snow for 8 of those 12 months! LOL We got our first snow of the season in early Oct. this year and it hasn't left yet! :( So this winter we have had snow on the ground for nearly 5 months straight. From what I understand, this is not a normal winter. Usually it melts and comes back a few times, but not this year!
