dd will be turning 10 next week and has asked for a "pj party". we decided to let her go for it. There will be a total of 10 girls (dd included) from her class.
Any ideas for games, or crafts they could do. Other activities.
dd already has her copy of Princess Diaries set aside to watch.
ds was a little put out that he would not be included in the party, so we told him he could invite one friend over to spend the night with him. They can play in his room and the girls get the rec-room downstairs.
I have to say WOW8o with three infants your having 10 ten year old girls and two boy at your house....YIKES....better you than me....
How about nail/toe painting, popping corn for the Princess Diaries....good old fashion telephone game.....I wouldn't think that they would need structured stuff...just being girls....how about some slice and bake cookies?

How about painting pillowcases or sleepshirts (men's undershirts are cheap)
decorate inexpensive slippers....
I posted a marshmallow eating game in another thread somewhere - my dd did that at her party and they loved it...

Dd (who will be 10 in June) said she would love to have a scavenger hunt. Maybe you could hide a bunch of things that they could then use as a group. I like Renee's idea of nail polish....maybe a few different colors....some nail accessories.....a disposable camera to take their own pictures....licorice. I heard a neat idea similar to painting t-shirts - instead get white socks and let them paint those!
Good luck and let me know what works out for you....just in case dd wants a sleepover too!

I will also have my 14 and 16 year old neices here who will be supervising the party. They are both really responisble girls, so I know I won't have to worry about them.
Change is ds plans. He is going to his friends place (a brother of one of the girls coming to the party) for the night.
Thanks for the ideas. They sound like they could work and I already have the fabric paint on hand for sleepshirts or pillowcases. :yippee:
