It's all over - and I am surprised at how sad I still am.
We went to the dr. Wednesday for the ultrasound and blood work. I fell apart totally at the dr.'s office, Wednesday - even had the nurses hugging me. :)

The nurse called today to say that I am not pregnant anymore.

It's the finality of it that is hitting me now. Not that I think the world should stop (or even slow down) because of what's going on at our house, but life is going on and I'm still dealing with this. (probably why I can't just type in - "hey ya'll! I'm doing fine" and let it go.....)

The dr. said he would dicatate the info and send it to my OB/GYN and then it hit me... oh my gosh, I had a miscarriage - it's on file - I'll have to check that little box on medical history forms now....
I know it may sound like those are little things, but it's what makes this so real.

Thanks again for keeping tabs on me. :)

Didn't that just totally piss you off when you realized that the world didn't stop spinning??!!! I know I felt it should..hell, my whole world was falling apart, why not everyone elses!!!! Sweetie, it's gonna hurt for a while. And the first time you gotta check that box, it will probably bring a pang or two also.

BE ON YOUR OWN TIME TABLE AS FAR AS YOUR GRIEF!!!!!!!!!!! no one else's! I handled each of mine differently and I handled them differently from how friends of mine handled theirs. NO ONE WAY is right. You will get over it when you do. If it's quicker than some people think, well great. If it's longer, then so what?

Oh Jennifer I'm so sorry. It sure does seem like the world should stop doesn't it? I know exactly how you feel about checking that box. Such little things can really be difficult. I would burst into tears at all kinds of strange times, everybody was very understanding though so that helped a lot. You hang in there.
