Just wondering if you would ever consider doing any type of cosmetic/plastic surgery?

A co-worker had her eyes done yesterday....fixed the extra skin.

I know that when I was in Florida, there was so much advertising for cosmetic surgery.

Im starting to see the lines around my eyes and its kinda of freaky, but I would never have any surgery. Im not vain enough I guess. LOL

I'm hoping that the exercising and healthy eating habits take care of my turkey chin, but if not, and I wasn't saving for a house, I might consider having a chin tuck! I can't stand seeing pictures of me and my extra chin!!!! yuck! It's not pretty!! It's scary, though, all the horror stories you hear! The only other thing I would consider is a breast lift. I really do not like the fact that they are now on my stomach!! I always liked being well-endowed, but now that gravity has decided to be my enemy, I could kill for a small chest! Again, hoping the exercising and healthy eating takes care of this problem!! When I was younger and got sick and lost a bunch of weight, they were the first thing to go... from a D to a B. I'm really hoping for similar results!!!

If I had the money I would. Actually, I'd probably go for something cosmetic that wasn't surgery simply because I think I scar easily. Right now (36) there are just very fine lines on my forehead. Eyes and mouth doing fine. When I wake up there is one on my left side by my nose from sleeping on my left side. It's more my overall skin texture that I'm unhappy with.

And this is from someone that doesn't even wear make-up. I don't consider it vain at all. I look at cosmetic surgery more in terms of permanent make-up. just one more thing to enhance your appearance.

If I had the money, I'd also get my teeth bleached and get a trainer.

With ya on the teeth thing, too, Lynda!! So many things to improve!! LOL Though, I think I'd go ahead and get them capped (if money were no object) so it'd be permanent. I always said once I quit smoking, I'd get my teeth bleahced, but, from what I hear, it's not forever and I can't give up my Diet Coke, so I don't want to spend the money!
I don't see it as vanity, either. If given the chance, I'd improve upon things that won't change no matter what I do (exercise, eat right, etc).

not for me....although I see the appeal....the only thing about myself that I would love to change is my eyesight...but too chicken :chicken: for the surgery.....
