Okay, I got all the ingredients for the protein shakes....juice, yoghurt and fruit.
What are the measurements for each?
I can't wait to try it :)
One serving:
1 banana
1/2 cup pineapple or orange juice
1/4-1/2c nonfat plain yogurt
3-5 pieces of frozen fruit
1 scoop protein powder
Blend well.
I add Kashi cereal to it for the Fiber.

Thanks Amy.
The protein powder that I bought is Ultra Whey More. It says to add 2 scoops to 8oz - 16 oz...total of 52 g of protein.
My body is going to say "hey what's going on".
I went to a really good health food store around me and that it was they recommended. They had about 5 different Kashi cereals(one was for kids, one was just puffs, one was a mixture and I can't remember the others). I bought the Kashi Go Lean Clusters. I tasted them last night and they were really good.
Thanks for all your input...it means so much to me :)
P.s. Do you know some good exercises to work on the area around the hips but towards the back more (does this make sense?). Also my inner thigh area....these are my target zones :\
I think your body would go into shock if you added that much protein. My dh uses that amount because he is very physically active and that is good for his weight lifting routine. I used two scoops once and I got a slight/moderate case of the cramps. Try one scoop at first, if your body can handle it, then you can try 2 scoops.
I know the target areas you are talking about. Is it your saddlebags? Its very hard for me to explain exercises, Im better at showing.
Let me go find a site that can show you better.
Here is a couple from Ann's site that I use

For inner thighs:
I lay on my back on the floor, hands laying under your butt to keep your back flat on the floor. Raise your legs in the air, with knees slightly bent and open and close in a controlled motion. Do 20 reps. If you know what a scissors move it, then bring your legs is close and do 20 reps of controled scissor legs.

Thanks again Amy.
I'm going to definately start with one scoop of powder.
Thanks for the exercise tips....they are similar to the ones that I do (except the martial arts kick ).

WOW....Amy it was delicious!
I used banana, orange juice, nonfat yoghurt and 1 scoop of the powder. I think I ended up making 14 oz of it. For the last 4 oz of it I added the Kashi but I didn't really like it in it. The Kashi that I have (clusters) has a cinnamon taste added to it, and I didn't like that taste in the smoothie, so I ate it dry afterwards.
Did you add frozen strawberries? That acts like ice cubes being blended and gives you the "smoothie" consistency. Can't wait to have mine this morning.
I put about a 1/4 cup of Kashi in the total mixture. It sounds like yours was a bit too concentrated. I don't think I would like the cinnamon flavoring part of it either.
