Baby shower invitations

If you were sending out invitations to a baby shower would you mail them to the hostesses?

Wouldn't the hostess be the one sending the invitations....?
Or do you mean the mother-to-be? If that, then I would just give one to her.

When I have been a hostest in a party with other hostest, I usually send them an invite if there are extras.

For the last family baby shower we had, my SIL and I co-hosted. I did the invitations on the computer. I kept one and just handed her one -- mainly as a reminder for us both!!!

For the mother-to-be, she would probably like one as a memento. For the shower I mentioned above, I made up a little bag with a copy of the invitation in it, a copy of the guest list with addresses, a copy of the couple of games we played, and a gift-list. We had a teddy-bear theme, and coordinated all the paper things listed above to match.
