I just joined a gym about a month ago and I'm really enjoying it. At first I was a little nervous that I wouldn't get there enough to justify the expense, and I was a little intimidated by all of the machines and beautiful people but now I'm really happy I joined. Does anybody else belong or does everyone just do it at home?

When I lived in NC, there wasn't much to do on a dya to day basis, but they had a beautiful health club with a fantastic nursery. I was in there at least 5 days a week and was really fit.

Since we have moved to Colorado, there is NOTHING that even remotely compares and my lack of exercise shows. LOL We are getting a treadmill on Monday and hopefully that will help a lot, plus I just have a Fitball to supplement my workout.

I have belonged to a couple different gyms:

-all women

-men and women

The last one I belonged to was all women, and it was better than the first all women one I went to. I don't really have a lot of time to go to the gym now, so I'm working out at home.

MM! I belong to a Women's gym. I like it. No pressure to feel the need to look like Pamela Lee when I go in to work out. :-). ßß!

I belong to a co-ed, but don't feel the need to look like Pamela Lee either:p. Its all a bunch of parents that belong so I feel right at home. They have a good nursery so I feel fine dropping ds off for a bit. I typically run before everyone gets up though so I use the gym to crosstrain 0-4 times a week.
