I had an OB appt today and I measured at 3 weeks ahead. Two weeks ago I measured 2 weeks ahead. I've lost 4 pounds since my last appt. My doctor is sending me for an ultrasound April 9th before my next appt. So, I did a search and found a woman who had the same thing happening and she had a tumor. I think I need to stay away from engine searches on pregnancy problems!!!
When I asked my doc if he thought the baby was big he said he didn't know if it was the baby or me. I said that I'd lost 4 pounds and he said, let's just do the ultrasound and go from there?
The babies heartbeat was good and strong. Only 7.3 weeks to go!

Hope everything is okay Angie!! Can't believe how far along you are already! How exciting!! :)
{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}} Yes stay away from search engines....;) I know lots of women who actually lost weight in the last few months of Pregnancy.....hang in there honey....let us know what happens with the ultra sound....it didn't sound like your dr. was too worried...just cautious....which is good...:)
Didn't you say that because of your weight, you tended to lose weight with your pregnancy?
I firmly believe that you can search and find someone who lost a toe from painting it with red nail polish..so stop searching!!!!!!!!:{
I can't believe how fast your pregnancy has gone (well, at least for me! ;) )

Let us know how everything goes. I think your pregnancy has gone fast too! I can't believe it is almost over.
Were your other two babies big? They say that with each pregnancy the babies get bigger (not with everyone, but most). Hopefully it's just a big baby and nothing serious. :) Let us know what they say after your ultrasound!

Angie,
I had the same thing happen with my last pregnancy. At my 34 week appt. I measured 36 weeks and had lost almost 5pds, so the doctor sent me for an ultrasound immediately, and the only thing they come up with was that Lucas was just a really big baby. And so the Dr. just watched me really close and sure enough Lucas weighed in at a Hefty 10pds 2ozs when he was born. 8o (My first was 5pds 15ozs) So, I hope everything goes well for you at your ultrasound appointment. :)

I am guessing that my OB is not all that worried or he would not wait until April 9th for my ultrasound. My other dks were 7'8 and 8'6 so not all that big. Maybe the fact that I was borderline Gestational diabetes means that Emilee is going to be a big one!
Nebraska mommy - 10'2....thank goodness for c-section! LOL

Whoooaaaa!!
Can't we just stop the time for a second!! It feels just like yesterday when y'all were announcing our many pregnancies.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers that all will continue on schedule.
Who delivers first anyway???? Someone help this feeble minded person!!!

Wow... I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone either... LOL I remember when everyone would say that to me and I felt as if I'd been pregnant... FOREVER! :biglaugh:
I'm sure that everything will be just fine... :) With my last dd I lost a total of 7 pounds in my last 2-1/2 months, and she came out weighing 9 pounds l5 ounces... 8o
...and I would definately stay away from the searches.
Diane...
Its been fast for us, but we haven't been lugging around the extra weight! LOL
I hope your baby is perfectly healthy Angie. My ds was 9'3 and he skipped right over newborn clothes. LOL
