I've got Strept....yet again....

went to the doctors office yesterday.... :nurse:I have strept, and sinusitus....got some anitbiotics and was told to take it easy....so I am...not working out today and just hanging out in my sweats.......:)

I also talked with him about Estroven and he told me to stop taking it....if I am that worried about being irratable and cranky all the time to keep a two week journal...if when I get explosive or irriated write down why I feel this way...we will review it in two weeks...doesn't think I am crazy:p and probably won't need medications for what I am going through....but was concerned and talked to me honestly about it....which felt nice...stoped the estroven and slept great last night....so....

also ds got some Zythromax for his cough and yucky :sick: nose and head thing...hope this works for him

started taking the Estroven because I was feeling irritable, and thought maybe it was hormonal, I realize that Estroven is over the counter, but was told by my Physicians Assistant PA that it was ok to try, and it might relive some of my irritabliliy....No offense to anyone but all it did was make me fall asleep at 9:00 pm...like an old lady...:lol: I still feel irritable at times, for no real reason....My doctor said its normal and that with all the weather we are experiencing....it could just be cabin fever....March Madness...:lol: doesn't think I need hormons, or Prozac (well not yet) just maybe more me time...and just get out into the sun....when there is sun...LOL....

I'm glad the doctor's appointment went well Renee and you got some meds to help you feel better. Bummer about having strept! 8o I've wouldn't even know what it feels like to have it... ?( I don't know how, throughout all the years that I've taken care of kids, I've avoided getting it. ?( ?( I hope you and your ds start feeling better real soon.

When I was on Estroven (for a short while) it never seemed to do anything for me... in any way. LOL It's funny how some things can affect some and not others. I hope you start feeling better real soon.

You might try boosting your Vitamin C intake too. It will help your immune system to fend off future bouts.

Does your ds have a bacterial infection too? I only asked because it sounded like a cold in your description. LOL

Sorry to hear you are sick again Renee. I wonder why you guys are sick so often?
Try changing your toothbrushes after each sickness....they can harbour germs and reinfect you.
