I got a call from the NP today and she told me my pap came back normal. So basically, there is no reason for me to have this. Im itchy and crampy, but I don't even have a yeast infection (another test they did on Wed). Im relieved, but still really perplexed. The NP thinks I still need a biopsy to find out what is causing this. What I wouldn't give to have a *****!! ROFL!!

Im trying to do my part by taking a strong multivitamin and 1,000 extra grams of vitamin C to boost my immune system. Im also on my treadmill everyday to help me get stronger.

Thank you again for your prayers and concern. It means a lot to me!! I justt love ya all!

Amy, I have decided this is a psychosomatic illness stemming from your dh's impending tour of duty and failure to retire. You need to tell those doctors that, and tell them that the only thing that will heal it is for him to retire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Sorry this is so puzzling!

Too funny about the *****... :biglaugh: I love your diagnosis Ann... :)
LOL

It sounds like you're doing everything you can in order to stay healthy... 8o I can't imagine what this could be. ?( I'm glad your pap came back normal... but it sure would be nice if something would come back that could tell you what is causing all of this. It seems like they've ruled out just about everything... ?( ?( I hope that you'll get your answer real soon, but in the meantime... I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care!! :)

I know someone has probably already asked this... Could you posible be allergic to any products? I know some people can be allergic to Monistat, K-Y Jelly, Latex in condoms or in diaphrams, soaps, duces or tampons? This can cause swelling, dryness and icky discharge.

I had to read your post twice, because the first time my gutter brain got the best of me and I was laughing so hard about you saying you wished you had a ***** that I had tears in my eyes! :) Then I reread it and understood what you meant by that...

anyway, I'm sorry that you didn't get any answers. What a pain in the butt. Maybe the biopsy can give them the answers. Although it doesn't sound like fun, maybe they can figure out what's going on. I'm thinking of you and I hope you are better soon.

Sorry they still haven't found out what's wrong. Here's a thought, it's odd, kinda out there, but it could be possible. When you work out, do you get sweaty in your "crotchital " area? That could be the culprit, or at least a part of it. Maybe the sweat (and rise in temp when you exercise) is causing bacteria to grow and climb it's way up to your cervix and cause irritation. Sort of the way spermies do!! :biglaugh: I dunno, just a thought.
I'm not making light of your situation. I do hope you can find some answers and relief very soon. :\

ROFLMBO!! That was hysterical Amy!

I only really started working out AFTER I had this, to help me get healthier. I think I have something that is called cervical dsyplasia (sp?) Basically, I think I have abnormal cells that are causing my cervix to blow up. Who knows what caused it. So with chronic cervicitis that is not bacterial or caused by some std, they can do a couple of things. They can laser beam the bad cells out of it or use crytology (freezing tool) to get the bad cells.

I'm guessing this is what it is with all my research, but won't know a thing until I see the Gyn. on April 9th. I actually feel a lot better and now have my period, but it is unusally heavy and "dischargy". I believe that is another side effect of the dsyplasia. I have a high tolerance of pain, just not in raw private spots! LOL

Thank you all again for letting me be honest and graphic. It has helped a lot that you all didn't get grossed out on me! :)

Get grossed out? Oh puh-lease!!!! I'm sure they're are very few of us who haven't had some kind of female problem that wasn't entirely pleasant to discuss (or endure), but it helped having someone to listen to us and offer advice and comfort.
I'm hoping you'll find something out soon. Problems that arise in the "nether region" (my little pet name for mine!! :biglaugh: ) are rarely fun to deal with. Be sure to keep us posted!
