I don't weigh, but I feel better. I must be losing weight in my lower half cause clothes from last summer are a looser, but the tops are still tight! LOL
I did the treadmill today for the first time since I sprained my ankle. Just a mile at an easy interval...did fine, could feel that I wasn't flat on my foot...with about 5 minutes left in the work out it started to hurt, so I just did the cool down and stopped..wasn't even on the treadmill 20 minutes. Kind of bummed me out. I have never had a sprain, but this sure seems to be tender for a long time. I did it March 23.

Thanks.
It's very easy to do, and not terribly different than the way we already eat. I am actually eating more food than I ever have! LOL
I am obviously cooking SB dinners (which means, all I really have done is cut out starchy carbs) and my DH is losing weight just from eating right at dinner! I do it with the kids and they haven't even noticed. They don't even miss the rice or potatoes. I use sugar free bread to make their sandwiches, and Sf PB&J! LOL

so Ann...I have to be so nosey I know...is there a book on Sugar busters or a plan to follow? can you explain or do you have a link describing this? sounds really healthy....

Yes, there is a book called SugarBusters. It is basically based on the glycemic index of food and how they sugar reacts to the natural insulin we all have. There are no food groups being eliminated. Sugar isn't a food group! LOL It's not even a no sugar but a low sugar, cause natural sugars are ok. There are a few starchy carbs that aren't recommended (white rice, regular potatoes, pasta) And a few high sugar fruits (watermelon, bananas) but it is an very easy way of eating to follow. You don't count anything. You do need to read labels to watch for added sugar. It basically encourages food in their most natural element. And no processed food, but you can have whole grain breads and pastas. It's very easy to do at restaraunts too. Except for the chips and margaritas at Mexican restaraunts...haven't quite given those up! LOL
What I have found so interesting, is that my mood swings and horrible PMS/menopause symptoms seem to be going away. I have more energy than I have had in a year. So even if I don't lose any weight, I feel so much better.
Here are some good links with info too.

Renee - I'm so glad you posted this thread, now I have somewhere to brag!!
I lost 4.6 lbs. last week!!!! woo hoooo!!!!
By watching my points, doing tae-bo 3 - 4 times a week and walking to and from school, I'm looking a little different. I've lost 7 lbs. in 2 weeks.

Congrats Renee on going back - it's the easiest way I personally have found to loose my weight.

Ann - sorry the ankle is not 100%, but better than it was it sounds.

Ya'll have a good day - I'm going to go EAT!! :) I never eat before weigh in, so I'm starving!!! :)

I'm not doing very well. LOL I have still maintained (within 3 lbs) the 30 lbs I lost in 2000. I'd still like to lose some more- or maybe just tone up my body. I have walked a few times now that the snow is completely melted off the sidewalks. It's still chilly at times to actually get motivated to get out there and walk though. I have the Tae Bo tapes that I ordered a while back and I actually forgot about them. Life threw me for a curve ball in March and I think I'm just about ready to get back on track and start working out. I always feel so much better when I do. Thanks for the kick in the butt guys! :)

I am definately working out more consistently. I have noticed that my pants are looser, but I still don't feel like I've "lost weight" (haven't weighed myself either).

I think it is hard for me because I only have 10 pounds or so to lose, and it is very slow to come off :\ . Sometimes it is so unmotivating...but I'm trying.

My birthday is coming up, and I really would like to lose a couple more pounds before that....wish me luck

MM! First off- Congrats to everyone sticking to it! It was hard to get going, but now you can't stop me.
I have lost a grand total of 7 pounds in 7 months and am proud to state I have lost another 1/2" off my hips, bring me to a grand total of 3". One more to go. My butt is defying gravity and returning to its pre-children state too.
The cross trainer at the gym has become my best friend.
My week with "Gino" was a success and I have learned how to sculpt my body now. I have been working at it hard and am enjoying the benefits :newwink: .
I actually am eating more now than I had in the past. I have (out of sheer bordem) ventured out into the world of Puerto Rican Vegetarian cooking and hello, it's incredible. Last week I ate Asopa de Platano. So great!
I'm now in a size 8 in junior's 8 :-). Now I just need a Jeep to complete my summer wardrobe. lol ßß!

I have been doing pretty well and was so proud of myself for staying motivated with increased exercise and better eating habits.....however, over the wknd I ate and ate....and skipped the bike 4 days in a row. :\ I am so disappointed with myself, but tomorrow is a new day and I know I have to get back into this!!

Marla - I'm with ya on those last ten pounds - I think they are the worst!! :tearhair:

Congrats to all of those who are still losing and working hard!! :thumb:
