Do you use this board for "ammunition"?

Renee's post about car seats got me thinking...how many of ya'll use this board for ammunition? As in "I was talking with some friends the other day and they all agree with me on......" LOL
or "some friends of mine were saying you should be doing.........."

I wouldn't exactly call it ammunition but I do find myself referring to you guy's quite a bit. LOL I always start out saying... "some of my friends from... well, uh... well some friends of mine..." LOL Heck... I've never met any of you but I still constantly refer to you as my friends. :) LOL

Another ditto for Diane's post. When I'm talking to DH I say *That board I go to*. He know some of you by description!

ROFL!! when I am talking to other people I always say "some friends of mine". If I am talking to dh, I will say "the board said". He knows alot of ya'll too!

Definitely do at times. I have mentioned to my boss before that I've discussed some situation with other teachers and they do it this way so that's why I decided to try it.

It's amazing how much more open she is to an idea if I found it on the Internet than if it was something I learned from other jobs, area teachers, or in my college classes! LOL

I do that with friends and family, too. Sometimes I think they think I am nuts - none of them have ever ventured near a message board before, so of course I am a little "out there" :newwink: :lol:
