Where do you all hang out? as a family?

to talk and just be together? the kids and I hang out upstairs in alot in the master bed...just talking and reading books....and alot of time in our kitchen...coloring and the infamous playdoh....I seem to get the most information out of them in those special comfort places....

so care to share?

We don't have one single room that we use..we really use our whole house. I guess the place we spend MOST of our time together is the breakfast table.

I would probably have to say in the kitchen whenever we ever get to eat supper together. LOL Every once in a while when were not together at the table everybody somehow ends up congregating down in my office... :) During the summer we'll usually gather in the back yard at one of the tables around the pool. No one certain place... usually wherever dh or I am. :)

We have a family room at the back of the house. It's mainly an added on room to the former dining room. Even though there is a bit of a wall between the old room of 200 sq feet and the addition of 500 sq feet is really looks like one large 700 sq foot room. The computer, tv, vcr, cable, N-64, Playstation 2 are all in here. It has one of our two dining table and an L shaped couch. Another area has the games and some of the toys and some bookshelves. Basically it has everything we use. Even if we are doing different things we are in the same area and can talk. This room is the one thing I am really going to miss about this house when we move!

Wow... I'd LOVE to have a big room like this where no matter what you're all doing... you'd all still be together. :) Sounds like a fun room!!!

We don't seem to have a lot of family time lately.... but I guess we're in the den or the playroom - wherever dd gravites mostly.

Our kitchen and family room are an open concept (no walls in between), so I would have to say that we spend most family time in that area.

The kitchen table, and the car seem to be our best family places....but the occasions are getting to be less and less often. :(
