Our living room is decorated in burgandy's, greens and blues...oak woodwork.

Our kitchen is connected to the living room, so I use similar colors. I decorate with flowers and apples in this room.

Our master bath has no color scheme...yet!

Our bedroom is yellows/greens/ and blues.

Our powder room/mud room is done in light blues/pretty flowers and birdhouses. There are some reds/burgandy's and greens as it transitions into our kitchen area.

Ds' bedroom is blues/whites/blacks/reds. Star Wars is the theme.

Our downstairs does. You can see all the rooms from wherever you are, so I wanted it to blend.
I have a pretty Waverly fabric, so I choose colors from it for the rooms. The den, hallway is a taupe and the dining room is two-toned green (light above chair rail, darker below) and the kitchen is a deep red (love my red kitchen!!)

Upstairs is a different story - dd's bath is yellow with Bunnykins wallpaper border. The playroom is not done yet, still primer white walls. Our bedroom is a Williamsburg blue and dd's bedroom is palest pink. As I write it, it sounds horrible - but I think upstairs, it's okay for each room to have it's own personality. (that's my defense and I'm stickin' to it!) :)

Mary, your colors sound so pretty!!

Cathy - ROFL!!! I love it!!

We do. I think the only "plain" room right now is the play room...only because I didn't know what to do in there! LOL!

Just did new colors in the master bath, but then was wondering - are the colors *supposed* to tie into our bedroom? They used to, but I needed a change and something brighter!! :)

Pretty much. I tend to decorate around something that inspires me. Our dining room was done from the fabric I picked out for our chairs (a tapestry with wine bottles on it..various shades of green, blue, gold, burgundy on a black background.. the walls are greenish blue) which led into the entry (a goldish butter color) and the study which are on either side of it (a shade of green) I then picked up a color from a couch in the study to do the kitchen in (burgundy) which feeds into the den which is predominately slate blue but with burgundy and the gold accents from the kitchen and the entry (it's all kind of circular! LOL) Each of the bedrooms are a design too.

My livingroom is a burgundy, green and cream color... the dining and kitchen are pretty much open to the livingroom so I went with mauve and cream in there. My bedroom is mostly blue, white and has a small mauve print in it. The bathroom is blue, green... and again cream. Dd's bedroom is a light rose color with matching border/curtains and bedspread. We'll be redoing our bedroom this summer... and also the family room again. When/if I get to my office I want to change that to a greenish color. 8o I'm not usually a fan of green but I absolutely LOVE this one... Can hardly wait!!!
