Anybody else worried about the tech stocks?

Dh's company's stock is down to $15 a share. We're hoping the "last hired = 1st fired" rule won't apply to us if things get much worse!

:( We sold all our tech stocks (and all others) about a month ago. I really thought we should have held on to them, but glad dh said to sell them. If we were smart, we would have sold last summer, but who knew it was turning this way!! We lost 40k in "money" because of the wait. I guess it could have been worse.

Donna, I know how volatile the tech market is to job security for your dh. I hope they hold onto him and wait for the storm to pass!

Not anymore. But if I still held them I'd have to say yes. This is a sore spot for me. We diversify but we still lost a ton in Tech stocks before we sold most all of them. I guess I should wait to talk about this when I am in a better mood!!! Luckily for us- retirement is a long ways off.
