I didn't stick to my original schedule (Surprise!) lol, but I did get out and run a couple of days this week. I ran about 3.5 miles on Monday and today I ran between 6-7 nmiles. I don't know exactly how far I ran today b/c the %$## treadmill at the gym died on me again. I ran for 63 minutes, so I felt like that was enough. I can say it was much closer to 7 miles! ;)
I started at 6.0, upgraded to 6.5, and tried to run at 7.0 for awhile. I eventually had to back it back down to 6.5 for a bit before increasing again. I was running at 7.5 when the treadmill gave up the ghost.
I think I'll be able to finish as long as my nemesis the sun stays away. However, for the moment I'm going to abandon my dream of finishing in under 2 hours. Ah, but who knows... with low temperatures and the adrenaline... :)
Are you ready Jeff? Our injuries were ill timed, but I hope you can make a go of it.
