I am supposed to be going to a "party" to sample gourmet food tonight. The invite said to "come hungry" - of course I'll go anywhere that involves eating! LOL! Has anyone ever heard of this company before or tried their food? I think they sell soups, desserts, maybe some dips and bread? I am wondering how expensive it will be and if it is good. I guess I'll soon find out! :)

I've never heard of it but it does sound fun! You're going to have to post tomorrow and let us know what it was all about and how it was. Sounds real interesting! Hope you have fun!

Sounds interesting! Let us know what you think.

I think someone else posted about it once, but I can't remember who.

I've heard of this company or one similar but have never been to a party. Let us know how it goes.

It was fun! :) It turns out it is a MN based company "Tastefully Simple" - it based in Alexandria. We sampled lots of food and I really liked most of it. I was actually full before they were even done passing around samples!! Some foods just require a few ingredients and some need no prep at all. I bought a couple things and want to prepare them next time we get together with family as a munchie to see what they think.

Mickey, thanks for posting the link. They mentioned it last night, but I haven't checked it out yet.

I think that it great that you had fun. I have never heard of this company before. I have only heard of pampered chef. It sells cooking utensils and coookware, but at their parties they serve food that is from recipes used on their cookware.

It was really good to get out last night. Oldest ds was compaining of a sore throat yesterday afternoon and when I looked at it I saw white spots, so we ended up at Urgent Care because it was after 5. :( The rapid test for strep came back negative, but they put him on meds and said they'd call in a couple days when they got the results of the culture. He's acting pretty good, but doesn't have much of an appetite which is understandable.
