Good Sunday morning!

Woke up early today, am already showered and dressed! LOL It's gonna be long and busy day. Our church is holding a special fellowship and service at the high school coliseum. DH and DS are helping with parking and need to be there at 8, DD and I are greeters so we need to be there at 8:30..breakfast/fellowship is at 9..they are having our 3 choirs plus the Houston Youth Choir and part of the symphony for music! Then the service is at 10.
After that DH and DS are heading to the Astros with another dad and two boys, DD and I are going to register for swim team and swim and then she has a birthday party tonite from 5-7!

Just sitting here to figure out how to organize my day today. Dh has to go to work for a little while, youngest ds has swimming lessons, I want to go and visit my grandfather in the hospital, and we need to do a major grocery shop....how to fit this all in, and still have some time to relax and enjoy the weather ?( ?(

Oh yeah, forgot that I have laundry to do (as per usual) too :rolleyes:

I don't have any big plans for today. Just the usual groceries, lesson plans, housecleaning, counting down to summer, and laundry. When the weather is this beautiful (:D :D ), I spend more of my time on the countdown.

Dd3 had a great time in Washington. I figure after she sleeps most of the morning, I'll take her to church and let her attack the remaining lawn! It shouldn't be hard to convince her. I advanced her the money she didn't have, so she could pay for the trip. She owes big $$.

Already been to one of dh's ball games this a.m. and now he's doing some painting with his brother and I'm doing laundry. DH has another ball game this aft that I might go to, haven't decided yet as ds is suposed to get together with a friend to work on a school project. I also have some gardening I'd like to do. Just going to be cleaning the house today and trying to prepare for another busy daycare week. I have 3 tomorrow a in diapers! 8o Won't that be fun! LOL Plus 2 others and then my 2 dks. It sure will be a busy day, but it will make the day go by fast that's for sure.

Dh is at work right now and this afternoon dd and I are going to go get haircuts (or shall I say trims).

Time to wind down.....

We went to the 8am service and 9:30 sunday school this morning. Had a small b-day party for dd from 1:30 until 3:30. Then off to a park for our nephews b-day party. We just got home and need to help ds get his homework finished.

I'm getting nervous about Friday 8o It felt like forever getting here and now it is coming too fast!! LOL

Ds made his First Communion today. It was lovely!!!:* We had some friends and family over afterwards to celebrate! This weekend went waaaaaayyyyy too fast! LOL

It was a beautiful day here today until it started to rain at about 6:00... but we need it so I'm hoping that it rains on throughout the night. Woke up with frost all over the ground and had to scrape the windows on the car before I could go to the grocery store. We grilled out tonight but ended up having to eat inside because of the rain. I got the porch all cleaned out... took everything out and cleaned the carpet and all the windows and wiped off all 45 of my wind chimes. 8o I bought a new picture at a garage sale yesterday and got that hung up... I'm trying to convince dh to put a TV hook up in the porch so I can sit in there and watch tv... but so far it's a no go. :( The way it is we've got TV in just about every room in the house and he thinks we've got too many places to watch it the way it is so... 8o I guess I've got to work on him a little longer. :biglaugh:

I can't believe tomorrow is Monday again already... where do the weekends go??? I feel like I've only had one day off... 8o LOL

I'm glad to hear that his First Communion went well... :yippee: I couldn't agree with you more about the weekend going waaaaaaayyyy too fast... I think someone stole one of the days right out from under my feet. LOL

I'm not sure where the weekend went but it was quite a weekend.

Dh found out on Friday that he has 2 ulcers that have formed since his last surgery. They are directly related to aspirin/Ibuprofen products. He is on meds to heal the ulcers. As long as they heal it won't mean more surgery.

When we got home Friday there was a message on the machine that one of my preschoolers' dads was killed in a car accident the night before. I guess he had been drinking. Also, a lot of time this little boy would go with his dad so it was a good thing he had preschool that day or he might have been with his dad.

Saturday we had a bunch of yard work to do. The kids were riding bikes over at grandma's with their cousins. Ds #1 wrecked on his bike and hurt his ankle. We had to take him to the ER. We don't know for sure if it's fractured or not. We will find out tomorrow when the radiologist looks at it. Needless to say the past 24 + hrs have been spent playing nurse maid.

We had dd #2's preschool graduation today. It went okay considering I had to put up with the director. I had a lot of nice comments from the parents. One even cornered me about whether I was coming back. She knew all about how difficult the boss is to work with/for.

My house is a total disaster, I work tomorrow and Tuesday. Where's the Pause button on life??
