pulling on body parts

Hi there, this is my first time on this and I was checking it out.

I have a four and half month old baby boy,his name is Nicholas. My question is to other mommy's or daddy's who have little boys. During a diaper change or bath time my son likes to pull and grap this private parts. Sometimes they go red from graping. I would like to know if anyone else has or had this problem with their son. Or do you have any advice.

He is also my first child so yes I am a new mommy

Welcome to the IB! :) Yes, I remember that with my ds. It really used to make dh cringe. ;) Maybe you can give him a little toy to hold on to while you're bathing him if it bothers you, or if you're afraid he's going to hurt himself.

I've got a little one that I daycare for who does that all the time. The second his diaper comes off his hands are down there and he's yanking and pulling... 8o If it hurt him, he'd be crying and he's not so I know he's not hurting himself. I think it's a pretty normal thing for them to do and I probably wouldn't worry about it. :)
