Well, we've been back for almost a week now and I think I need another vacation. Orlando was great. I hated to leave. (although i did miss my babies)
By the time we got settled into our condo (which was actually in Kissimee not Orlando) Sunday afternoon we didn't feel like doing much. dh tummy didn't enjoy the plane ride too well and my ears were playing games with me. We ate at a little restaurant near the condo and just took a quiet walk, went back to the condo and relaxed.
During the next few days we just did all the touring things.
Disney (two days -open til close), Sea World, Univeral Studios and a day with my Aunt and Uncle who spend every winter in Florida. It was a lot of fun. Although we were going all the time it was still kind of relaxing just knowing we had no commitments to do anything or be anywhere and could just do what we wanted when we wanted.
The kids had a blast in B.C. Of course they got totally spoiled while they were there. They went skiing, swimming, the Vancouver Aquarium, movies and most importantly in Spencer's story, the hockey game. Just mention hockey and you'll be his friend for life. He was a little homesick though, wanted his 'Mommy' (that's my baby), Skylar on the other hand didn't seem to miss us at all.
They loved the plane ride as well. We've been on a plane quite often, so it wasn't too new for them. Just the first time without us! They made us promise to take them to Disney World with us next time , 'caus it's no fair for you too meet Buzz Lightyear without me Mommy' quotes Spencer.
Maybe this summer when school let's out.
Most of the snow dissapeared while we were gone and this past week has been great. My crocus bulbs are actually trying to peek through (a little too early I think).
