So, what did you think when that gal stood her ground with Hildi about not dyeing the carpet? 8o I couldn't imagine having it done to my carpet, but in the end I could see the look she was trying to accomplish. I thought it was funny that after it was all said and done Hildi agreed that she wouldn't want her carpet dyed either. LOL!

I was disappointed in all the hype! LOL The only difference with this homeowner than any of the others that have complained is that Hildi backed down...makes me wonder if it wasn't staged!
She had enough money, she could have bought a throw rug and why not dye that scrap piece?

I agree...I think she should have dyed that leftover piece. I probably wouldn't have been thrilled with orange carpeting...but I think Hildi's room would have looked more "finshed" with something different on the floor.

Was that the show where the two ladies were decorators themselves? Cracked me up how they both didn't like what was going to be done in the room.

I was glad they didn't dye the carpet in the room, but agree they should have used the scrap piece just to see what it would have looked like in the room.

Sounds like it was an interesting show... but of course I missed it. I always miss that show. I think I've only watched it two or three times because I really don't know exactly what night or time it's on... 8o I think it would probably drive me crazy watching them do such weird things to people's houses though... All I know is that I would NEVER let them in my house to do anything. :)

Thanks!!! I printed it out and put it by the TV... 8o Maybe I'll remember to watch it now that I know when and what time it's on. :)

I agree. Hildi and that gal sure seemed to have a lot of tension btwn them though.
