Well, My foot is on the second week of mending. I have missed my exercise. I feel so out of shape all ready!!
I still get up early, turn off the alarm then go back to bed for another 45 mins. I don't want to miss up my wake up time!!LOLOL.
So how are y'all doing working out????
My ankle is FINALLY feeling back to normal (take note hurt it the end of March!). Did a 20 minute 2 mile speed interval today on the treadmill...going to try to do a distance walk tomorrow.

Ann, sounds like you have the patience of Job taking care of that ankle - hope it's back to 100% SOON.
Dh and I did the Tae-Bo Sunday night - OH MY GOSH!! I got a terrible workout b/c I was laughing my a$$ off at him!! He has NO coordination - it was tooooo funny.
Got up to walk this am, but realized my tennies were still wet from washing off the strawberry stains - so, another 30 mins of laying in bed.... surely that burned off something. ;)
I am just so stunned at how long it has taken to get the ankle healed, and it was only a sprain AND I totally stayed off of it for the first week too.
Every time I see this thread title I think U-Haul!!! My brain is fried!

I've been getting a few walks in... but not as much as I would like to. Between day care and helping my mom prepare for her move (her Auction is tomorrow) I'm just not getting out but as I look at it... I'm still getting my exercise, just in a different way. I've eaten WAY too much these past few weeks... between my sister coming down a few weeks ago and taking my mom and I out to a Chinese Buffet, then last Saturday my mom took us out to eat again... then two times out in one day on Mother's day... I'll be happy when things start slowing down and things start getting back to normal... then I'm hoping that I can get back on my regular exercise routine.
Diane...

When I sprained my ankle a few years ago (on my very first day of our vacation) it seemed like it was forever before it even started to heal. I got to the point where I thought maybe I had done something more to it than a spran, so I ended up going to the doctor. He told me I just had a very bad sprain... and that some sprains can be worse and take longer to heal than a break. I believe it! I hated it because I couldn't exercise... it really screwed up my summer!!!
I'm glad your ankle is finally feeling better Ann...
Kacee... The sooner you give in and start resting that ankle (a lot more than you are :) )... the quicker you'll be back on both feet. I hope it starts getting better real soon... :)

LOL....slowly moving around here too....since being sick...I haven't been that rigourous....but have been moving most every day....at least little walks around the property with the dog....
gotta crack back down....;)
I did weights and step on Sunday, Mon off, Tues. I did some more weights and a 3 mile jog. I won't be able to go to the gym today, but if the weather holds I think I'll go rollerblading with the kids after school.
