Did any of you ever play with Lite Brite as a kid? I found a site that allows you do something similar on line. It's kinda fun. Thought I'd share.
(I really need to do homework--can you tell I'm putting it off?? :) )

I've got three of them for the day care kids and they LOVE it! Most of them are still too young to understand what the Y, R and so forth means but they still enjoy sticking the pegs in and making pretty designs. Thanks for the site. :)

My granny used to have one at her house that we used to play with when I was little. It was fun to make pretty designs with it. I wonder if she still has it?

We used to have one when I was little and I want to get one for the dks, but figured I better wait until they are a little older. I'll be sure to check out the site! Thanks! :)

Hi Linda. I remember it well. Actually I bought one for the kids at a yardsale, and mil bought them one too. For any of you that want to get them for your kids, check out yardsales....cheaper than buying them in the store (I paid $1 for mine LOL). You can buy refill kits of the designs at Wal-mart.

Still have mine from when I was a kid. Santa brought it for me when I was about five or six. My dk's use it every once in a while. dd used it to make a sign for her lemonade stand last summer. They seem to have more fun just creating their own designs and picture then using the ones you can get for it. That was always my favorite too.

:) I forgot to mention that I still have mine. I didn't let the older boys play it much when the others were little because I'd always find pegs laying around. A few years ago my mom got some refill pages with Disney pictures.

When I bought mine, I think it was $12. I saved up birthday and Christmas money for it. I can't remember how old I was though.

Hope you enjoyed the site!

but they haven't gotten into as much as I thought they would. I think there are too many things keeping their attentions busy (nintendo). I hope they'll learn to love it as much as I did. ( I still like to use it...LOLOL)
