graduation ideas

I'm looking for preschool graduation ideas. The children that will be going to kindergarten will be with me all summer, so I am not in a rush.

I'm hoping to get my things together and made a slide presentation of the class throughout the year with the song "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart playing.

I found a couple of cute poems too.

For graduation last year, parent volunteers came in and made books with each child's handprint and a thought they (the child) had on each page. Enough copies of these books were made so that every child had a book of everyone's handprint. The kids really liked them.

Hi There! I know it might be late for you to use this but I'm new to this board and I just had to share what we do every year. We pick a story like Goodnight Moon. Then we go around and take pictures of the whole center, like the cubbies and the animals etc. then we rewrite the story and we end the story always with the picture of the kindergatners who are leaving. Then we give one to the ones who are leaving. Hope that helps. Good luck!
