What is going on with my puter???

My CPU is making a clicking noise but not when I am typing or it's going from site to site, and my mouse is being very non responsive.....I have cleaned it, done disk frag, scan disk everything.....what is up????

clicking like its going to explode? (not being funny) no smells right? I hade a monitor do that once....started smoking...but I don't recall clicking.....yikes...did you call your Dell support number??(
