Good movies...

Has anyone seen any good movies lately? I rarely get to the theater, so maybe tell me movies you've rented in the past 6 months or so?? :) The last movie I saw at a theater was Toy Story 2 if that tells you anything! LOL!

Ds is watching Toy Story 2 at this very moment! LOL! I love that movie!

Saw the Grinch and Rugrats in Paris with ds, but haven't been to a grown-up movie since "Meet the Parents".

I want to see Hannibal and I heard Snatch was awesome!

Saw Snatch last week, loved it but it is not for everyone. Saw Family man, it was ok, kind of a no brainer, and Castaway was excellent. Going to see Traffic sat night.

For rentals, Gladiator is the best movie we have seen in a long, long time.

I really want to see Castaway - maybe I can manage a trip to the theater so I don't have to wait for it on video!! It seems like I always see previews for movies that look really good and then by the time they are on video I forget what they are.

Is Remember the Titans the one with Denzel Washington? Did anyone see Dr. T and the Women with Richard Gere? It is on video now and I thought about renting it.

Gladiator was really good. I thought X-Men was excellent and I can't wait to see Castaway.
I don't care for most comedies or love stories so I can't tell you any of those were good or not.

We rented "The Road to El Dorado" recently. It was pretty good. We thought Chicken Run was a bit lame. We still love to watch Star Trek Insurrection (on DVD), even though we bought it a year ago. I totally LOVED Jesus. Absolutely fantastic! So good I special ordered it for purchase. Now I own it.

We rented the Truman Show. It was intriguing. The only theatre movie we've seen since last summer(and I don't even remember what we saw) was The Grinch in December.

We have Benny and Joon on video, and dh and I watched that again recently. Sometimes we just like to re-watch some of the movies we already own.

Took youngest to see The Grinch - I really liked it. Went with dh to see Castaway which I could not enjoy because dh was bored with it, but I liked it too. Went to see The Wedding Planner with dh last weekend - we both liked it. :D
