I have gotten 3 days in!! I only did 2 miles yesterday though. My walking buddie was still getting over sore spots from her hike in Big Bend.

So,

Monday -3 miles
Tuesday - 2 miles
Wednesday- 3miles.



Gotta keep this boots awalkin' !!!

uuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm... not very good

I have been doing a few walks a week with the neighbor, but her 2 yr old walks with us and goes at a 2 yr old's pace.

I know I've been gaining weight because my pants are getting snug so today I stepped on the scale and 8o boy am I not happy! :\ I know how I gained it and I know how to take it off, now it's just time to do it!

I hear that jen....its hard to stop eating for me....walked over six miles today...but around 8:30 pm...the refridgerator will start calling me.....ARGH.....

doing it slowly is all I can say....:)

With the kids out, my usual workout times are changing, in fact, hitting the treadmill in a few minutes.

I was hitting the treadmill twice a day, but since dh has been home and its getting hotter, I have been getting on in the mornings for about 20 minutes. I don't think my problem is exercising. I just need to limit my fat intake. I would be thrilled to lose 1/2 inch -1 inch of fat off all of my body! Im muscular, but would love to be defined.

I've been doing just awful... not at all as well as I had hoped. Like everyone else... it's finding the time to exercise. I haven't been sleeping very well lately and so when/if I can sleep in even a little bit later in the mornings... I do. 8o That and some of my dcparents haven't been real good about dropping their kids off at very consistent times in the mornings... so I'm afraid to leave thinking that they'll be standing here angrily waiting for me when I come back. :\ I remember when I'd MAKE the time, no matter what time it was... because I'd refuse to not go for my walk... and I'm sure that when it comes right down to it, I could if I REALLY REALLY wanted to, but I guess the "want to" just isn't there for me. :bigcry: I've really got to get it going though... the wedding is only 1-1/2 months away. Ugh!!! 8o Somebody give me a good swift kick in the butt and get me moving. LOL

Things are going well here....had my first monthly measure/weigh in at Curves the other day.

I lost 3 pounds and 3 inches in a month!
