Career Change

Hi! I've never posted before so Here it goes. I've been a preschool teacher on and of for about 6 years and I recently went back to school. I have my Associates in early childhood education and I am about to finish my bacholors in Psych with a minor in Child and the family studies. I was wondering if anyone had any career suggestions. I love teaching preschoolers but I really am having a hard time living or of what it pays. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Oh by the way I livein NY but I plan to move to CT when I finish school. Thanks

How about a psychological examiner. I don't know what it pays, but I'd say pretty good. We contract out for one to do all our school's comprehesive spec. educ./psych evaluations and she's contracted by other schools as well and there is not enough of her to go around. Kids are on a waiting list for a couple of months before the ball gets rolling on some.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll Look into it. I got some time this week so I think I'm going to go to the career center. I was actually thinking of starting my own day care/ afterschool care, but that will take more work then I'm able to do right now. Thanks again.
