I'm thinking that Microsoft had resume samples (templates) in one of their programs....Office?....not sure. You might want to run a search for Resume templates and see what you come up with. Good luck! I hate updating my resume...but I think you're smart to at least start thinking about it before you move. (Don't forget to get Letters of Recommendation from people who live in your current town (maybe from the school if you were a frequent volunteer...etc). )

Another interesting site for you, Renee:
http://www.sample-resume.org/

Also, you want to put the focus first. Like if you have a degree and no experience in your field, put your education first and likewise, if you have awesome experience, but not a degree (or one that's not related to that field)--put your experience/knowledge first.

If you need a proof reader, I'd be happy to help--just e-mail me!

Go to your start menu, select Find, files or folders, then type in resume and it'll bring up different templates for you to use. Also, check out the various job search sites (monster.com, etc). They usually have a resume builder.
Good luck!!! ;)

No, I wasn't! I actually have several people proof read important stuff for me. And I just helped my cousin with her resume and we ended up rearranging, rewording, eliminating, adding, etc. several times before it was finished.
