Renee - Best wishes on the house plans. Your are true about the name of the city - love it.

We had storms last night. And a silly drip by our masterbed room window. It was like chinese torture. I am up and going now.

I will be putting a roast in the crockpot for DH's father's Day. His request.

Church this am. Not much else on the plans.

I did start another fillet crochet for a couple who are getting married in 2 weeks. I will be pushing to get that done. Plus, I am crocheting wash clothes for my aunt's soap business. I shall have busy hands this next couple of weeks. Should keep me out of too much trouble!!! LOLOL

Renee sorry to hear your dks are sick again, you certainly have had your share.

I have some shopping to do, the girls need cleats (sp?) and I have to pick up a 2 bday gifts and exchange a couple of things I bought last week.

dd2 has a make up riding lesson at 6:30 to replace the one she will miss when we are away next week.

Dds are working the fathers day carwash at church. I wish it was a little warmer, but at least the sun is poking through. I'm being a slug!! LOL
Nothing much planned besides noon Mass. I may get to my homework, and try to finish up the requirements for my class, but it's tempting to hold off. Being on VACATION makes everything seem less urgent. I like it!

We got home late last night, so we all slept in today. We spent yesterday at the lake and from there we went to my dad's and grilled out and had a bonfire. Fun day. Today we are going to work outside, have a picnic at the park and maybe go out for supper??

Renee - More good wishes for the house you want!! Hope your dks are feeling better soon!

This weekend has definately had it's ups and downs.

My doctor gave me a free sample of allergy meds. I started taking one each morning starting on Thursday. (Didn't think to read about the side effects.) Friday night, I couldn't sleep. I mean, I couldn't sleep at all, which really upset me because I signed up for an all day scrapbook retreat on Saturday. Around 5am, I finally gave up trying to sleep, took my shower, then had breakfast, coffee an an allergy tablet. When I got to the scrapbook store, I was surprised to find I was not tired at all and had plenty of energy. I was talking to the women there about it, and luckily, one of them thought to ask if I was taking Allegra because the same thing happened to her. It was a good thing she told me about it because I was begining to think I was losing my mind. I went on to scrapbook 16 pages which totally broke my all time record of 9. When I made it home after midnight, my hair was still tingeling. (Thankfully, my friend drove me.)

DH had waited up for me. (I think he was worried.) I forced myself to eat something and washed it down with a glass of wine, went up stairs and slept like a baby. I'm feeling pretty groggy and itchy this morning but pretty much back to normal.

DS is having his first sleep-over tonight! Nice little boy from school, should be fun. Hope they don't keep me awake. :)

Oh wow... 8o Good luck with the house Renee. I hope you guy's get it, it sounds perfect! :yippee: I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Poor kids... I hope that they're feeling much better now. It always seems like when one gets it you can count on the other one getting it too. 8o

Take care and let us know what you hear about the house. :)

Sunday was a hard day for me seeing it was my first year without my dad. 8o My oldest sister had invited my mom over to her house for the day, so dh and I pretty much had most of the day to ourselves until later on in the day when we met our girls at the restaurant where they were taking dh out for father's day. We "were" going to have a picnic except that I heard that it was going to be raining on and off throughout the day... so we decided not to chance it. 8o
I'll probably be having all of my family over in a couple of weeks for a picnic anyway... and hopefully the weather will be more cooperative. :)
