beautiful outside already, supposed to be in the 80's again today....dd's first day of summer today.....this should be an adjustment for me...:biglaugh: ds has half days today and tommorrow....they are so excited about summer and moving....8o

more packing today...light laundry...

maybe a trip to the library, when ds gets home from school.....although I need to finish :read: "the divine Secrets of the YA YA sisterhood.." it's really a good book...I have just been so busy and then tired at the end of the day....

Good ol Thursday today... 8o Nothing wonderful planned for my day. I'm hoping that the kids are as good today as they were yesterday... I got a LOT done. :) Going out with my mom to look for another dress tonight... she still needs to get her's too. I'm getting nervous :nervous: about not ever finding one that I like... seeing dd doesn't want me wearing any creme color's and every dress I've found that I like happen's to be that color. :( Wish me luck... time is running out.

One of the mom's that I do dc for went in late last night to have her baby... so I'm hoping to hear some good news this morning. :yippee: She's already got two dd's... and she's hoping for a boy this time. Secretly... I'm keeping my finger's crossed for another girl. LOL I should be finding out something pretty soon... :)

We have a swim meet tonite. I am carless cause dh's alternator went out yesterday. But he is home right now, cause he partied just a little too much last night with his boss and didn't get home till one. He is bugging me too, been reading over my shoulder all am!!! LOL think he wants something ;)

Playing hookey from work this morning (shhh don't tell ;) )

Just came back from an hour long walk ....it's absolutely gorgeous outside right now 8)

Have to pop by the mall, then I'll go to Curves (double work out today :yippee: ) then I am going to hide at my parents' house. They have a pool and nobody is going to be home...no kids, no work, no phone :D

I do have to be at work by 3:00...have lots of meetings later and won't get home till very late.

Sounds like everyone has great plans for today. It's after lunch here now. I did some banking and picked up my vacuum cleaner from the repair shop. Stopped at my Dad's and had lunch with him. Very hot and sunny and I'm enjoying the day. Stressing a bit about the "leaving ceremony" (as opposed to graduation) for ds's class next week (grade 6) as I'm in charge of the decorating. I was up in the middle of the night making lists. Still stressing about my dental implant surgery, not the surgery itself, but the running around to all my dental appointments and the run-around from the insurance company to boot. I've decided not to rush it, my summer is busy enough without having to worry about that...it will get done when it gets done, and that's it.

It's a loudy again today- hopefully it won't rain. I have 3 dck's today and we are going to go the mall's indoor play place.

Just have a bunch of house work to do tonight. Company's coming! LOL Dh wants to go fishing, but I think I might just let him take the kids. It all depends. I think 2 of my dck's will not be coming tomorrow. If that's the case I will have quite a bit of free time tomorrow, so I might just go fishing after all.

Hopefully I can get back on at nap time to type. Looks like there are a lot of new posts. Not much free time this morning...

Have 3 dck today. One is at school, so right now there are just two here plus DS#2. One os sleeping and DS#2 and the other are outside.

Only 1 week left of school now they get out next Thursday. Just doing more housework today since I wont get any done this weekend. We have a wedding tomorrow afternoon with a reception at 7:30 tomorrow night. Then DH works Ssat and I am going to go to the gift opening which is on Saturday I will take DK's with me.

Other than that nothing to much exciting going on. I am also gettting things together for a wedding that DH and I are standing up in, in July...

I'm so beat. Got home and it was 14 degrees cooler at the house than in town. Ds said it rained like crazy here just before I got home. Nothing in town. It's a nice 76. ESL after while and then our care group meets for dinner. I'm ready for bed now though.

I am having a hard time motivating myself to do things today. I did finish crocheting 1 wash cloth. And have read 2 chapters in my book.

Dd and I had piano this morning. Now I just hope that I remember her dentist appt. This afternoon.


Kinda cloudy right now, but usually down right hot!!

DD and I did go swimming yesterday. She wanted to go again today, but her dentist appt is coming up soon.
We did go shopping for plants - got a gorious moon cactus, pink and purple.


Time to go plunk on some piano keys, read or crochet.

According to my dd that "perfect" dress was the wrong color... 8o and didn't want me to get it, so now I'm off looking for another one. :) This time I hope I'll be able to find something that isn't a cream color... :)

could you have it dyed the right color? why not have that dress used as a pattern and have one made in the right color?

My sister and her dks left around noon. Dks, dh and I headed out back to the pool for a couple of hours and then I mowed. Was a beautiful day here and now it looks like it's gonna rain. Ds has t-ball tonight, so he's hoping rain comes so it's cancelled.

Just stopped in while I have another quiet moment.
It turned out to be a really nice day today, right now it is around 68.

Ended up doing tons of dusting, vacumed, cleaned my kitchen and went through a huge stack of papers that were floating around. Also did 5 loads of laundry including putting it all away, have another load in the washer and 1 in the dryer as I type.

Still have to iron the dress I am going to wear to a wedding tomorrow.

I had to keep busy today as I wanted to keep my mind of my Dad. He went into day surgery today to get a polup(sp) removed. The Dr. said that everything looked good though, Thank god. He is doing okay in lots of pain though and resting. I am praying hard that everything is okay like the Dr, said. I am so worried still even though my Mom said that he would be fine adn that the Dr. said that it all looked good. Probably just me I am a big worry wart.

I slept a little late (8:15) and took dd to my mom's and I headed to work. Picked her up and headed to my in-laws to pick up some leftover food that was crowding their fridge. Came home, "fixed" dinner and have vacuumed and will start some laundry and play with dd.

Hi all! :wave: Long time no see. Life just seems to motor along around here....renovations, work, school. Dd, dh and I have all been sick....what a way to lose a few pounds! :lol:
One more week of school then hopefully some relaxing time. There is a job posted in the newspaper that I am going to apply for though. Full time year round and a would pretty much double what I earn now! 8o
Trying to catch up around here....no way I can respond to all the posts that I missed, so will probaby just catch up with current news.
